With Radio
or Microwave Internet access, signals are transmitted to your PC via
an aerial on your roof, rather than using a dial-up modem, leased line,
cable modem or standard ADSL connection.
Systems typically use local base stations to transmit
and receive data to adn from your PC. Upload and download speeds are
usually symmetric. Charges are frequently made by the volume of data
transferred. There is currently limited availability for such services.
