The amount of time managing spam and rogue applications for membership compared to the amount of valid contributions made it impossible to justify keeping the forum open.
The vBulletin version of the Net4Now Forum replaced an Ezyboard verision and had been in operation since May 2001. The forum recorded an astonishing 296,000 posts, 26,000 threads and had over 3,000 members but the move of focus away from ISP discussion, together with the launch of new social networking sites, ultimately resulted in its terminal decline.
