‘More Brits placing bets with broadband’ More Britons are now using their broadband connections for recreational activities such as gambling, a study has shown.
Research by the Gambling Commission recently highlighted that 8.6 per cent of UK residents had participated in some form of gambling online during May ? up from 7.4 for the same period last year.
Playing Lotto over a broadband connection was found to be the most popular form of betting, followed by playing poker.
