Move Networks announced today that it will provide its state of the art publishing platform for Discovery Communications’ new, expanded online initiative featuring full-length epis#@es of select series and specials.
Move Networks, based in Utah, has become the premier publishing platform for many leading media companies that want to deliver near-HD or HD video content online. Unlike other platforms, Move’s technology is out of beta and has already been used by tens of millions of users to watch long form or live near-HD or HD video content online from leading broadcasters. The Move Player works on a number of computer OSs including Microsoft Windows Vista and Apple OS X.
“We are excited that Discovery has chosen our publishing platform, and we look forward to helping Discovery provide its customers and advertisers with the best possible viewing experience,” said John Edwards, CEO of Move Networks.
