BT 2MB available today

BT Business Broadband customers will now receive up to 2Mb service as standard, as well as reduced costs and improved service levels on selected products.

From today, 1st April new customers will receive the increased speeds of up to 2Mb – up to 4 times the speed for the same price on Single and Share products. Current customers can upgrade their speed from later this month. Single 1000 customers will not only see a doubling in speed but also a price reduction of £15 per month and Network customers will shortly have the option of an eight hour Service Level Agreement (SLA) and advanced support. The developments are part of BT?s continued strategy to provide small and medium-sized businesses with all the tools they need to fully embrace the internet.

Faster connection speeds and improved service support across the BT Business Broadband portfolio will further help companies take advantage of broadband applications, such as Internet Business Pack**, Internet Trader Pack** and Business Broadband Voice, allowing businesses to help manage their costs and increase business efficiency.

?Today, speed is often taken for granted by business customers ? they?re now more interested in what they can do with broadband and how it?s supported,? explained Beatriz Butsana-sita, Head of Marketing, BT Business.

?Standardising 2Mb across our portfolio for no extra cost is part of our continuing drive to help our business customers really harness the power of broadband. It helps turn the online world to their advantage, helping to give them a clear edge over their competitors and enabling them to punch well above their weight?.
